1. Application of Ceramic Balls

Ceramic balls have a wide range of applications in industry and daily life, mainly including:

Bearings: Ceramic balls are often used to manufacture various precision bearings, especially high-speed and high-load applications. Ceramic bearings have a lower coefficient of friction, higher corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance than steel ball bearings.

Grinding media: Ceramic balls can be used as grinding media during crushing and grinding. They are widely used in industries such as chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and mining, especially when high hardness and high wear resistance are required.

Seals: Ceramic balls are also widely used in the field of liquid and gas sealing, especially when resistance to high temperature or high corrosion environments is required.

Filtration: Some ceramic balls are used in filtration systems, especially in water treatment and waste gas treatment processes, where they can effectively remove impurities and particles.

Electronic components: In some high-tech fields, ceramic balls are used in the manufacture of high-precision electronic components such as sensors and capacitors.

2. Characteristics of ceramic balls

Strong wear resistance: Ceramic balls have very high hardness, which can effectively reduce wear and increase the service life of equipment.

Good corrosion resistance: Ceramic balls have strong corrosion resistance to chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and salts, and are suitable for extreme environments.

Good high temperature resistance: Ceramic materials can withstand higher temperatures than metals and are suitable for high temperature working environments.

Lightweight: Ceramic balls are usually lighter than metal balls, and can sometimes effectively reduce the weight of the overall structure, making them suitable for some applications that require lightweight.

Reduce friction: Ceramic balls usually have a lower coefficient of friction than metal balls, which is particularly important for some high-speed equipment.
